A good address for lovers of eating out 🥰 I celebrated my 66th birthday with 2 friends (with Doberman Cora) the breakfast was perfect and served quickly, Cora also got water immediately. To be recommended again and again. By the way, I also celebrated my 60th there. There was no Corona, but a fantastic breakfast buffet

Unfortunately I can't give you any experience, the cafe was closed for coffee time today. It took a while until the service staff took pity on giving the information standing in front of the locked door. You could have just put a message on the door ..... Closed society 😪

The Michaelis is located in the city center of Chemnitz. You can eat well here, and the cakes and coffee pastries are also a dream.

Disappointing!! First the trouble with the reservation (unfriendly on the phone that there would be nothing available on Sunday mornings, even when we pointed out that you could still book online). We then booked online and got a place. Choice of breakfast, well. No more light rolls at 11 o'clock. Then got a baked dark, crumbled completely when slicing. Pieces of cake are mini (see photo, Baumkuchentorte on the left, Brazilian chocolate cake on the right) and cost almost 4 €. (per piece, mind you) Almost double the surcharge when taking it in a café, outside the home € 2.20. They were also disappointing, dry and no wow effect. Positive: on Sunday as the only one open in the vicinity. Conclusion: no thanks.

The coffee's good location, the friendly service, the large selection of cakes and the live music should be mentioned positively. However, I was a little disappointed, a small piece of cake of any kind for four euros, and then, in terms of taste, well - for the price I would have expected more, because the certain pep was missing.

Location is great, right in the old town. However price / performance does not fit. For a sundae 7.95 is already coated. It was delicious but I would rather go to another place.

Breakfast on a sunny morning - there are not many beautiful places for this in Chemnitz. But not only was the location and atmosphere great, the service was also friendly and the food was great for young and old. This is a good way to start exploring the city.

The service is always very helpful and friendly! The inn is easy to reach! The convenient transport connections make a meal trip quickly feasible, and I believe my partner and I have already ordered the whole menu up and down. The meal was served very promptly and I haven't been so impressed with a restaurant in a long time.

A cozy café in the city of Chemnitz. The pianist in the background makes you forget that calories are hidden in the delicious homemade cakes and tarts. The service is fast, unobtrusive and very friendly. If you like cakes and are in Chemnitz, you should definitely take the time to stop here.

Was in Chemnitz for decades again and was looking for a restaurant. My intuition to go in there didn't disappoint me. Very friendly service and a Saxon roulade to eat, which I liked. I was only surprised that with this quality and the appealing ambience there were relatively few guests there .... I recommend going there and filling up the Lokal

Quaint coffee house, nice waitresses, fantastic cake selection, delicious hearty dishes and homemade ice cream. I had lunch there and an ice cream afterwards, because it was so good I went back for dinner. A boss who helps ... We will definitely be back!
